Walter L. Waddle

A memorial service for Walter Leslie Waddle is Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Waddle, 65 years old, died at his residence on Friday, July 23, 2021. He is a retired Chancel Choir Director, member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a graduate of McKenzie High School, received his Bachelor at Bethel College and his Masters of Music Education at Austin Peay University. He was born on May 9, 1956 to LC and Mary Elizabeth “Bubba” Waddle in McKenzie, TN.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years Carla Flynn Waddle of McKenzie, a daughter Lorene Elizabeth “Lizz” Dodd of Benton, KY, two sons Chris Stigall of Austin, TX and Jesse Waddle of Houston, TX, two grandchildren Savannah Dodd and Zoe Dodd.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Margaret Williams and brother John David Waddle.
