Thomas Francis O'Connor

Dateline: Trezevant, TN Funeral services for Thomas F. O’Connor, Jr. are Friday, August 6, 2021 at 11:45 a.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant. The family will receive friends on Friday, 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment and Military Honors will follow at the TN State Veterans Cemetery Parkers Crossroads. Mr. O’Connor, 82 years, died on Monday August 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 19, 1939 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Thomas and Darlene Davis O’Connor, Sr. He retired from FedEx as a hub Auditor and he was also the company Santa Claus during the Christmas Season greeting workers as they were coming and going and passing out candy. He is a Navy Veteran serving during Vietnam, a lifetime AMVETS member and served as Missouri’s State Commander of the AMVETS. During the retirement years he did woodworking as a hobby. He is survived by his wife Ann Wilson O’Connor of Trezevant, two daughters Martha O’Connor of Birmingham, UK and Angela (Edwin) Hawkins of Atwood, a son John Grantham of Brighton and six grandchildren Nicholas Schultz, William Murphy, Travis Bryant, Alisha Bell, Desaree Mabry and Caleb Grantham.
