Mr. Townes, age 38 years old, died Sunday May 24, 2020 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. He was born on November 28, 1981 in McKenzie to Carl Townes and Mary Ann Milton Hampton. He is a member of Greater Enon Missionary Baptist Church and worked at MTD.

He is survived by his children, Cameron Townes, Noah Townes, Kyia Townes, Karleigh Mercer and Anaya Townes, two brothers Carlos Milton and Eric Gilbert and step-brother Marcus Sneed, step-sister Michelle Sneed, Step- mother Dorothy Townes, paternal grandmother Marsha Townes, Aunts Harriett Cozart, Suzzette Edmonson, Carol Townes, Anita Townes, and Uncles Fred Milton, Jr, David Milton, Ewell Townes, Jessie Townes and Jimmy Townes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Fred and Jeanette Milton, paternal grandfather U.L. Townes, Aunts Lisa Holder and Lois Milton and Uncles Joe Milton.
