Funeral Services for Peggy Ladd Chatham, is Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Frist Baptist Church McKenzie. The Family will receive friends at the church at 11:00 a.m. until service time. The service is being live-streamed on First Baptist Church website. Dr. Dennis Trull and Dr. John Adams will officiate.

Mrs. Chatham, age 87, died Friday, January 1, 2021 at her residence. She is a member of First Baptist Church McKenzie and she loved Christ and sought to live for him. She has a great passion for her family especially her children and grandchildren. She was born in Houston Co., TN to Willie and Rushie Martin Ladd on January 20, 1933.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, James R. Chatham, daughter Cheryl ( Jeff) Phelps of Helena, AL and three sons, Jim (Glenda) Chatham of Brentwood, Phil (Diane) Chatham of Dickson and Chris (Kathy) Chatham of Dickson, grandchildren Jamie Roche, Karen Bush, Anna McDonald, Robert Chatham, Justin Chatham, Matt Phelps, Courtney Amacher, Paige Osburn, Tyler Phelps, Levi Chatham, Lucas Chatham, Jenna Jordan, Jessie Bohler and Lucien Chatham, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her step-grandmother Judy (Mokie) Martin and siblings Lucille, Virginia, Louise, Vernon and Virgil.
