Funeral services for Lonnie G. Jones is Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery and the officiant is Brother Ronnie McClure. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the funeral home 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 pm and Wednesday 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Jones, age 93, is a retired City Carrier for the U.S. Post Office in McKenzie, a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a Korean War Army Veteran. He was born in Milan on November 8, 1928 to Edward R. Jones and Maggie Lomax Jones Traywick.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years Faye Campbell Jones, two children Emily (David) Webb and Tony (Jeanene) Jones all of McKenzie, three grandchildren Gina (Joey) Brush, Lindsey (Matthew) Holt and Parker (Toni) Jones, and nine great-grandchildren Will Brush, Macie Brush, Fletcher Holt, Ridley Holt, Carver Holt, Mary Mae Holt, Brycen Jones, Keaton Jones and Jake Jones.
