Services for Larry Daymon Smith, 74, will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 7:00 pm in the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the service.  The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Mr. Smith, a retired janitor, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on June 3, 1945 in Paducah, Kentucky to Douglas H. and Hula Brown Morris Smith. He was a member of Columbus Methodist Church in Columbus, KY and was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center of Hickman County Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Mary Jane English Smith of Trezevant, a daughter Dennise (Mike) Green of Gleason, two sons Darrell (Jamie) Smith of Greenfield, TN and Douglas Smith of St. Louis, MO, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
