Funeral Services for Larry D. Blackman is Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Long Heights Baptist Church and LIVE on Long Heights Baptist Church Facebook Page. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery and Brother Kenny Carr is the officiant.

The family has asked that all attending to please wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Mr. Blackman, age 72, died Monday, December 7, 2020 at Henry County Medical Center. He is a member of Long Heights Baptist Church and a retired educator in Weakley County. He was born on March 26, 1948 in Charlotte, NC to James L. Blackman and Christine Allen Payne.

He is survived by his wife Doris Hinton Blackman of McKenzie two sisters Cissy Rudd of Charlotte, NC and Sherry (Richard) Smith of Alexis, NC and two brothers Tim (Kim) Payne of Alexis, NC and Brian (Lisa) Payne of NC.

He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Victor Payne and two brothers James Blackman and Roger Blackman.
