Funeral Services for Kenneth Roy Winstead is Monday, November 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 17, 2019 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Winstead, a truck driver and Mason, 83 years old, died Thursday, November 14, 2019, at his residence. He was born on August 14, 1936 to Carmon “Pete” and Nell Gatewood Winstead. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Judith Faye Winstead and brother Samuel Estes Winstead.
He is survived by his daughter Gail (Richard) Duggin of Columbus, MS, two sons Dan (Elaine) Winstead of Ooltewah and Stephen (Melanie) Winstead of Ripley, two sisters Samantha (Terry) Nunnery of South Dakota, and Debbie (Mike) Roberts of Milan, seven brothers Bill (Betty) Winstead of Dyersburg, Ronald (Bettie) Winstead of Martin, Jim (Betty) Winstead of Martin, Thomas (Debbie) Winstead of Dresden, Terry (Billie) Winstead of Memphis, Walter (Andrea) Winstead of Mayfield, KY and Michael (Kaye) Winstead of Dukedom, seven grandchildren Stephanie Winstead, Danna Winstead, Thomas Winstead, Brittany (Sam) Owen, Rebecca (Nate) Cordray, Brady Duggin and Emerson Winstead and four great-grandchildren Aiden Hoskins, Ansley Neely, Oliver Owen and Nate Owen and his special friend Pat Hopper of McKenzie.
