Mr. Barton, 71 years old, died May 7, 2020 at Baptist Carroll County Hospital. He retired is a retired lineman for Carroll County Electric, a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a Navy Veteran. He was born June 25, 1948 in McKenzie to Seth and Marth Jane Vaughn Barton.

He is survived by his wife Janet Knott Barton and a sister Carol (Bill) Douglas of Paris, TN.
