Johnnie Cooper Taylor

Mr. Johnnie Cooper Taylor, Sr., 92, died Wednesday February 9, 2022 at The Waters (Christian Care Ctr). The family has chosen cremation and there are no services at this time.

Mr. Taylor was born in Hardeman Co., to Alums C. Taylor and Ollie M. Cooper Coston. He worked in the maintenance department at Diamond Heat Treat, Detroit, MI before retiring in McKenzie. Once back he became member of First Baptist Church McKenzie.

He is survived by two grandchildren Chris (Trish) Taylor and Heather (Andy) Karlo, three great grandchildren Caitlin Taylor, Brenden. Karlo and Taylor Karlo and one brother Richard (Reba) Taylor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Elizabeth Taylor, son Johnnie (JC) Taylor, Jr, two sisters Lossie Beers and Margaret Guzidal and two brothers Malcolm Taylor and Earl Taylor.
