Services for James Edward Fitzgerald, 76, will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Reverend John Fitzgerald officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 11:00 am until service time.  Mr. Fitzgerald, a Licensed Electrician for Osram-Sylvania in Memphis, died Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.  He was born on January 2, 1947, in McKenzie, Tennessee to James and Callie Mae Williams Fitzgerald. He was a member of Upper Room Church in Memphis.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include his wife Erma Bass Fitzgerald of Memphis, four brothers and their wives Earl (Mary) Fitzgerald of Memphis, John (Judy) Fitzgerald of Michigan, Ernest (Shannon) Fitzgerald of Murfreesboro, TN, Jimmy (Dallas) Fitzgerald of Georgia.
