Funeral services for Jackie Earl Batton are Friday, February 24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 pm and on Friday, 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Mt Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie.

Mr. Batton, 79 years old died at Baptist Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. He is a member of McKenzie Church of Christ, an Army Veteran and a retired logger. He was born on July 12, 1943, in Ridgley, TN to James Frederick and Helen Virginia Dial Batton.

He is survived by his daughter Jaclyn (Mike) Mayo of McKenzie, a brother Bruce (Anita) Batton of McKenzie, two grandchildren Dylan Hart and Audry Hart a great-granddaughter Adalyn French and his ex-wife Ruth Batton Morgan.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Freddie Ghyers and Irene Daniels.
