Funeral service for Irene Eaton is Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, 11:00 a.m. – service time. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Eaton, 92 years old, died Sunday, February 25, 2024 at her residence.  She was a homemaker, and a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. She was born in Dyersburg, TN on August 31, 1931 to Hyder and Pauline Comer Ham.

She is survived by her children Larry (Betty) Eaton, Ricky (Cathy) Eaton, Tim (Michelle) all of McKenzie, Ronnie (Debbie) Eaton of Milan, Joey (Jhanettia) Eaton of TN City, Darla (Mike) Hicks of Chesapeake Bay, VA, and Melissa Moore of McKenzie, brother Elmer (Effie) Ham of Dyersburg, 16 grandchildren, Jonathan (Anna) Eaton, Cari House, Eric Eaton, Alex Eaton, Michael (Jessica) Eaton, Matthew (Hailee) Eaton, Zachary Champion, Ryan Eaton, Jason (Anna) Eaton, Nichole (John) McKinney, Greg Eaton, Angela Fowler, Kristen Dienst, Colton (Cari Gean) Moore, Kyle Moore and Brenda (Roger) Christian, 26 great0grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years Vance Eaton, daughter Mary Melton, sisters Judy Lee, Martha Mitchell and Rosie Sanders and brothers OC Ham, John Ham and Willard Ham.
