Funeral services for Mr. Fred Arden Washburn is Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery, McKenzie. Pallbearers to serve are Michael Fred Washburn, Jerry Wayne Washburn, Brad Allen, Kenny Allen, Jason Pinson and Larry Maynard.

Mr. Washburn, 99 years old, died at Baptist Memorial Hospital on January 8, 2023. He is a retired cattle farmer and a member of Caledonia Church. He was born on July 2, 1923 to Vester Arden and Ardell Dovie Ross Washburn.

He is survived by his wife Hazel Washburn of McKenzie, daughters Cathy (David) Bullard of McKenzie, Janice Kay (Kenneth) Jester of FL, and Diane (David) Ross of Clarksville, sons Jerry Wayne (Mary Alice) of Gallatin, Michael Fred ( Jeanne) of Thomaston, GA, Acie (Dee) Maynard of McKenzie and Larry (Ann) Maynard of Gallatin, two sisters Louise Moore of Camden and Arlene Davis of McKenzie a brother Wayford Washburn, Sr of McKenzie, twenty two grandchildren and twenty three greatgrandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Linda Jane Allen Nunnley, two sons Jimmy Arden Washburn and Larry Gene Washburn and his brothers Bill Washburn, James Lloyd Washburn and Leo Washburn.
