Funeral services for Dwayne W. Matlock, 85 years old, is Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Matlock was born in Carroll County, TN on September 16, 1937, to Wylie F and Rosa Lee Langley Matlock. He worked for Pepsi Bottling Company in Memphis for 20 years.

He is survived by his daughters Carolyn Hedge (Tim) of Dukedom, Shelby Price of Dresden, Rose Green of Memphis and Gloria Phillips of Memphis, a brother Jerry Matlock of McKenzie and sisters Fay Hartsler of McKenzie Dorothy sue Horton of Huntingdon and Janice Bartholomew of Tulsa, OK , 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Peggy H. Matlock and brother William Matlock.
