Dorothy Elizabeth Rummage

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Ledsinger Rummage is Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Trezevant. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment is at McLemoresville Cemetery and Reverend Malcolm Norton is officiating.

Mrs. Rummage, age 94, died Friday, October 30, 2020 at Southerland Place, Brentwood, TN. She was born on December 14, 1925 in McLemoresville to William Franklyn and Elizabeth Mae Traywick Ledsinger. She was the oldest member of First Baptist Church Trezevant and also was a volunteer at Methodist Hospital McKenzie. Mrs. Rummage had various secretarial jobs and was part owner of Rummage Store.

She is survived by four daughters Beverly (James) Bryant of Martin, Rosalyn Robbins of Nashville, Gloria (Wesley) Piggott of Fontana, CA and Maria Rummage of Atwood, five grandchildren Kristy(Chris) Vincent, Alicia (Brain) Webb, Jason (Christy) Bryant, Megan (Matt) Laux and Elizabeth Robbins, Nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John L Rummage and five brothers Claude Ledsinger, Harold Ledsinger, James Ledsinger, Frank Ledsinger and Gene Ledsinger.
