Services for Jarrell Dennis Glisson, 70, will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the funeral service.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, January 22, 2021 from 10:00 am until service time.  Mr. Glisson, a Bridge tender for CSX Transportation at New Johnsonville, Tennessee, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at Paris, Tennessee.  He was born on May 6, 1950 in McKenzie, Tennessee to Edgar Lee and Dolly Violet Owen Glisson. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist in Paris, TN, an avid hunter and fisherman who also loved Harley Davidson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Marceal Traywick and Aline Sensing and his brother Lyndol Glisson.   

Survivors include his wife Cindy Glisson of McKenzie, his daughter Melanie Early and special friend Randy Pritchard of McKenzie and his son Jeff W. (Vickie) Glisson of Lexington, TN, his sisters Joyce (John) Harrison of Paris and Marie(Tommy) Nash of Indiana, a brother Ray (Judy( Glisson of McKenzie  and two grandchildren Lauren Early and Grant Early.
