Dateline: Springville, Tennessee Mr. David Wayne Williams 73, a truck driver died Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 5, 1948 in Martin, Tennessee to Auvern and Rachel McCartney Williams, Jr. He was an U S Army Veteran of the Vietnam War serving during the period of August 27, 1968 till November 12, 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents. At this time there are no services planned. Survivors include his wife of 37 years Willie Ann Davis Williams, marrying on January 28, 1984, a son John Williams, a step daughter Tammy Gwaltney three step sons Ricky Watson, Dean Watson, Jerry Ward, four sisters Judy Dyer, Patricia Dycus, Diane Yance, Alice Faye Williams, four grandchildren Amber Watson, Brandon Watson, Rylee Williams, Samantha Gwaltney, and three great grandchildren.
