Funeral Services for Carol A. Boyd is Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 11:00 a.m. until service. Interment will be at Mt Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Boyd, 77 years old, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at her daughter’s home. She is a retired secretary for State Farm Insurance. She was born March 6, 1944 in McKenzie to Jack and Dorothy Louise Moore Swearingen.

She is survived by a daughter Patricia (Scott) Dawson of Coldwater, MS a son, Mike ( Vickie) Boyd of Munford, a sister Barbara (Tony) Grissom of Gleason, six grandchildren David (Brackin) Dawson, Blake Dawson, Coley Dawson, Ethan (Krystal) Boyd, Caleb Dawson and James Dawson and two great-grandchildren Owen and Alita

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years James Boyd and sister Jean Lemmons.
