Funeral services for Carol Martin Barker are Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 22, 2021 5:00 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Tuesday 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment is a Mt. Olivet Cemetery and Brother Dennis Trull is the officiant.

Ms. Barker, age 69, died at NHC Health Care Center on Saturday, March 20, 2021. She is a member of First Baptist Church and taught school for McKenzie Special School District for 30 years. She was born November 17, 1951 in McKenzie to Harold Ross and Martha “Tinsy” Fite Martin.

She is survived by her daughter Leigh Ann Mendoza of Medina, son, Greg (Amy) Barker of McKenzie, five granddaughters Ashley (Tristen) Lowe, Maddie Barker, Holly Barker, Kristian Mendoza and Nadia Mendoza and one great granddaughter Ella Kate Lowe.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Phillip Martin.
