Mr. Brawner died Tuesday, January 21 at AHC nursing home in McKenzie.
Visitation is Friday, January 24, 4 to 8 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home in McKenzie.
He was born April 25, 1929 in Weakley County to David (Dave) Crockett and Ethel Mae Gibson Brawner.
He was a graduate of Gleason High School, a member of the Blooming Grove United Methodist Church, a former employee at Wilker Brothers (pajama factory) in McKenzie and a retired insurance agent for the National Life and Accident Insurance Company.
He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-seven years, Rosa Mae Byrd Brawner, whom he married June 3, 1950. She died June 2, 2017, and his siblings Wilburn and Charles Brawner, Ruby Nell Weaver, Nettie Lassater, and Geneva Robertson.
He leaves three daughters, Rosemary (Larry) Fowler, Teresa (Joel) Washburn, and Melinda (David) Ferguson, all of McKenzie; four granddaughters, Charlotte (Lindsey) Arnold, Heather (Frank) Robertson, Brittany (Jason) Martin, and Amanda (Alan) Ninness, all of McKenzie; and four great-granddaughters, Matilda and Ava Arnold, Anna Grace Robertson, and Alicyn and Aubry Ninness, and Charles James (C.J.) and Savannah Rose Martin.
Pallbearers who will be serving are Larry Fowler, Joel Washburn, David Ferguson, Alan Ninness, Jason Martin, Frankie Robertson and Lindsey Arnold.
The family has asked to please consider making donations in Mr. Bob's name to the Blooming Grove Cemetery Fund, 1516 Blaylock Store Rd, McKenzie, TN 38201.
