Funeral Services for Betty Warman Merritt are Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. -8:00p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Merritt, 76 years old, died Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at AHC of McKenzie. She is a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a retired factory worker, employed by Brown Shoe, the Pajama Factory and H.I.S. Trezevant. She was born on December 20, 1946 in Dyer, to Milford and Bonnie Cooper Warman.

She is survived by her daughters Sherri Sutton of McKenzie Sandy Sutton of Milan, Shelia (John) Sutton Triplett of Trezevant, a sister Toni Warman Brush of McKenzie and three grandchildren Sandy (Andy) Denton, Colton Stanford and Jace (Trisha Ward) Williams

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bobby Warman and Ronnie Warman.
