Betty Jane Darnell

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty M. Darnell is Monday, January 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the funeral home 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. and Monday 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment is at McLemoresville Cemetery and Brother Don Williams and Revered Linda Hilliard are officiating.

Mrs. Darnell, 88 years old, died Thursday, January 27, 2022 at her residence. She is a member of McLemoresville First United Methodist Church and a retired LPN. She was born on March 23, 1933 in Trezevant to James and Madge Glover Montgomery.

She is survived by her children Brenda Carroll, Mike Darnell and Larry (Beverly) Darnell all of McLemoresville, two sisters Mary Smith of Waco, TX, Sue Conway of Humboldt and Katie Blacketter of OK, seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Herman Darnell and sister Linda Bynum.
