Funeral Service for Bessie M. Phillips are Friday, July 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church McKenzie. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Phillips, 96 age, died on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at AHC McKenzie. She was born on June 25, 1925 to Francis and Maggie West Newhouse. She is a member of Grace Baptist Church and a retired beautician, seamstress and homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter Wanda (Frank) White of McKenzie, two granddaughters Lisa(Jamie) Whitworth and Trisha (Scotty) Davis, four great-grandchildren Brittney (Brandon) Beeler, Leah Mebane, Emily Davis and Jordan Davis and two great great grandchildren Blaire Beeler and Bear Beeler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Warren Phillips a daughter Brenda Phillips, a son Walter Phillips and her brothers John Green, Joe Green Ray Newhouse (her twin) and Ralph Newhouse.
