Services for Barbara Louise Scates Angelici, 80, will be held Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Al Bailey officiating.  Interment will take place in Memphis at Memorial Park Southwoods later.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm.  Ms. Angelici, a former office manager for her husband’s dental office, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Baptist Hospital Carroll County in Huntingdon.  She was born on August 26, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee to Ira Hampton and Rebecca Louise Yates Scates, Jr. She was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church, she also helped her 100 hundred years old mother with her vision to see how to drive.  She was preceded in death by father and her sister Betty Scates Bratton. 

Survivors include her daughter Gina Angelici-Davis of Savannah, TN, Dominick Ira Angelici of Collierville, TN, her mother Mrs. Rebecca Louise Yates Scates of McKenzie, four grandchildren Julianna Davis, Alexis Davis, Garrett Angelici, Savannah Angelici, and one great grandson Tyler Davis.
