Hershell Allen

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Hershell Allen, 77, will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Price officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, July 23, 2010 from 10:00 am until service time. Mr. Allen, a Former Owner of Hudson Fabrication, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at his residence. He was born on August 31, 1932 in Dyersburg, TN to Lexie and Lena Hayes Allen. He was a Baptist in faith, a member of the Boilermakers Association and the Independent order of Forresters and a member of the National Guard during 1951-1953. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Marie Mancell Allen of McKenzie, two daughters Sharon Ann Messina of Dixon, IL, Barbara Jo Cipowski of Glendale Heights, IL, one sister Mary Lou Cartwright of Dyersburg, TN, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
