Dateline: McKenzie, Tennessee Services for Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Anderson, 78, will be held Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 at 11:00 am at McKenzie Funeral Homes Cedar Avenue Chapel with Rex Buford officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery in Wildersville, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 1st, 2008 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 9:00 am until Service time. Mrs. Anderson, a retired cafeteria employee for the McKenzie School System and homemaker, died Monday, March 31, 2008 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was born on February 22, 1930 in Buena Vista, Tennessee to William C. and Corinne Worrell Johnson, Jr. She was a member of Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by parents. Survivors include her husband of 54 years James Fred Anderson of McKenzie, one daughter Jan (Tim) Birmingham, two sons James Roy (Marilynn) Anderson and Joseph Lynn (Katherine) Anderson all of McKenzie and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
