Lela Mae Belew

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Mrs. Lela Mae Belew, 91, will be held Thursday, February 21st, 2008 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Homes Cedar Avenue Chapel with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Union Academy Cemetery near McKenzie. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday, February 21st, 2008 from 11:00 am until Service time. Mrs. Belew, a retired factory employee for Henry I. Siegel (HIS) in Trezevant, died Monday, February 18th, 2008 at Oak Manor Health Care Center in McKenzie. She was born on May 2nd, 1916 in Hollow Rock, TN to the late Albert and Onie Turner Traywick. She was a member of Union Academy Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Russell Belew who died in 1981 one sister Ardell Barksdale, and three brothers Wayne Traywick, Marvin Traywick, and Willard Traywick. Survivors include two sons and their wifes Phil and Betty Belew of McKenzie and Ronnie and Frances Belew of Brownsville, TN, one granddaughter and her husband Carol and Stormey Crocker of McKenzie, two great-grandchildren Samantha Crocker and Austin Crocker also of McKenzie one sister Gay Nell Balind of Indiana .
