Services for Mary Lou Burke, 93, will be held Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 2:00pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Enon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 10:00am until Service Time. Mrs. Burke, a Homemaker, died December 19, 2006, at Oak Manor Nursing Home in McKenzie, TN. She was born on September 13, 1913 in Carroll Co. to Samuel Chandler and Hattie Ervin. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church in McKenzie, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Mr. Herbert Burke and Son Sammie Burke. Survivors include Two Daughters Bettye ( Phil ) Belew of McKenzie, TN and Mary ( Jackie ) Eubanks of Hernando, MS. One Brother Eli Chandler of McKenzie, TN and Two Sisters Brooxie Durham Smith of Soddy Daisy, TN. and Estelle Newbill of Huntingdon, TN. One Granddaughter Carol ( Stormy ) Crocker of McKenzie, TN and Two Great Grandchildren Samantha and Austin Crocker of McKenzie, TN. Memorials may be made to Enon Cemetery Fund.
