Donald Evan Bursley

Dateline: Henry, TN Services for Mr. Donald Evan Bursley, 84, will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Homes Cedar Avenue Chapel with Brothers Tony Wiggins and Paul Merwin officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 11:00 am until Service Time. Mr. Bursley, a farmer and retired factory worker, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at his residence in Henry. He was born on May 13, 1923 in Charlotte, MI to Evan Bert and Vera Ann Satterley Bursley. He was a Deacon at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Henry, a World War II US Navy Veteran, and a life member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step daughter Sharon Kay Reid. Survivors include his wife Mattilene Allen Reynolds Bursley, two step sons Rodney Reynolds of Dallas, GA and Dane Reynolds of Dover, TN, one brother William Bursley of Eaton Rapids, MI, four sisters Maxine Figur of Lansing, MI, Mabel Olney of Eaton Rapids, MI, Jean Sharon of Grand Ledge, MI, and Ruth Ann Olney of Eaton Rapids, MI .
