Services for Mrs. Dorothy Allen Byrd , 91, will be held Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 5, 2006 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 6, 2006 from 10:00 am until Service Time. Mrs. Byrd, a Homemaker, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Oak Manor Nursing Home in McKenzie, TN. She was born on March 16, 1915, in Gainesboro, TN. to Elmore Allen & Betty Ann Proctor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents & husband David D. Byrd Sr. Survivors include One Son " David Sonny Byrd Jr. of McKenzie, TN. Two Daughters " Betsy Jackson " ( Curt ) of Arlington, TN. Camille Whitley " Gallatin, TN.
