Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Annie Myrl Cooper, 89, will be held Monday, November 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Sam Dowland officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday, November 2, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Mrs. Cooper, a retired HIS employee, died Friday, October 30, 2009 at McKenzie Healthcare Center. She was born on January 29, 1920 in Bradford, TN to Edgar and Nova Lynn Warren Williams. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years: Dewey Leslie Cooper; one son: Gary Gene Cooper; one brother: James Floyd Williams; one sister: Linda Joyce Crocker McDaniel. Survivors include: two sons: Dale Wayne (Matilda) Cooper of McKenzie, TN and Randy Glen (Crystal) Cooper of Jackson, TN. One sister: Annette Williams Dowland of Milan, TN. Three grandchildren: Leslie Ray (Brooke) Cooper of Huntingdon, TN, Debbie Keylon of Dresden, TN, and Kevin Cooper of Wakeforest, NC. Three great-grandchildren: Luke Ryan Cooper of Huntingdon, TN, Claudia Mae Cooper of Huntingdon, TN, and Chris Keylon of Dresden, TN. McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
