William Roy Copeland

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for William Roy Copeland, 86, will be held Friday, May 22, 2009 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Rev. Joe McClure of Paris officiating. Interment will follow at Everetts Chapel. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 21, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, May 22, 2009 from 11:00 am until Service time. Mr. Copeland a retired TV Repairman and former factory employee at the Domestic Egg Plant in McKenzie, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris. He was born on February 1, 1923 in Milan, TN to Herbert Harlon and Eddie Lee Sloan Copeland. He was a member of the Big Sandy Methodist Church and a WW II U. S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and wives the former Lucille Harrison of 37 years and Sue Quinn, a great grandson Payton Alexander Chappell and a brother Bill Copeland. Survivors include five daughters Betty Baucum of McKenzie, Sara Edmiston of Gleason, Mary Lee Vowell of McKenzie, Jenny Waldrup of McKenzie and Linda Chappell, one brother Jodie Copeland of Lansing, MI, one sister Peggy Moore of Columbus, MS, four stepchildren, nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, six step grandchildren.
