Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Mrs. Annie Laura Delaney, 96, will be held Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2:00pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Revs Dennis Trull and Clayton Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 4:30pm until 8:30pm and Friday, April 18, 2008 from 10:00am until Service time. Mrs. Delaney a retired Brown Shoe Factory employee and homemaker, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born on January 11, 1912 in McKenzie, TN to John McDonal and Emma Myrtice McNeil Townes. She was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mr. James Delaney, two daughters Ann Moore and Myrtice Marie Delaney, a son-in-law Tommy Chandler, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a daughter Nell Chandler of McKenzie, two sons and their wives Dwayne and Thelma Delaney of McKenzie, Bobby and Monya Delaney of Gilbertsville, Ky, a son-in-law Frank Moore of McKenzie, a sister Frances Curtis of McKenzie, nine Grandchildren, 13 Great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren
