Roy Lee Diviney

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Roy Lee Diviney, 67, will be held Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 4:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bros. Malcolm Norton and Paul Bramlett officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Mr. Diviney, a retired business owner of the KimRo Mfg. Company in Trezevant, TN and a former employee of the old Public Shirt Factory in Huntingdon, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at his residence. He was born on May 22, 1942 in Ridgely, TN to Silas and Nova Lee Ivy Diviney. He was a member of The Ridgely First Baptist Church, a Vietnam War US Navy veteran, and a avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Matthew Coty Futrell. Survivors include his wife of 46 years JoAnn Marie White Diviney of McKenzie, two daughters Kim (Frank) Cochran and Jeanette Futrell all of McKenzie, one son Roy Butch (Penny) Diviney of Trezevant, one brother Jerry (Jane) Diviney of Greenfield three granddaughters Wendy Futrell of Paris, Gracie and Macey Cunningham of McKenzie .
