Brother James Calvin Dotson

Dateline: Jackson, TN Services for Brother James Calvin Dotson, 87, will be held Monday, April 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm, at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Morris officiating. Interment will follow at New Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 12 Noon until Service Time. Bro. Dotson, a retired Baptist Minister in Michigan, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson. He was born on September 7, 1922 in Athens, Georgia to Thomas and Pauline Dotson. He was a WW II U. S., Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife Ruby Owen Dotson of Jackson, formerly of McKenzie, a daughter Judy Beck of Grand Rapids, MI, two granddaughters, five great grandchildren.
