Sudie Mae Edwards

Dateline: Paris formerly of McKenzie Services for Sudie Mae Edwards, 83, will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 am at McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 9:00 am until Service time. Mrs. Edwards, a retired housekeeper at McKenzie Memorial Hospital, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris. She was born on March 17, 1927 in McKenzie, TN to John Daniel and Goldia Winsett Wilson. She was a member of McKenzie United Presbyterian Church, a member of the Eula Thorne Missionary Society, and past President of the Ladies Auxiliary at McKenzie VFW Post #4939. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Glen William Edwards, also three sisters and a brother: Thelma Akins, Pauline Reynolds, Adell Mathney, and Bill Wilson. Survivors include a daughter Pam (Richard) Roblyer of Paris, two sons Jerry (Emma Ellen) Edwards of Conway, SC and Kevin (Anna) Edwards of Paris, one brother J.D. Wilson of Paris, seven grandchildren: Adrian Featherstone and John Smith both of Florida, Shane Edwards and Brock Edwards both of Virginia, Michael Edwards, Macey Edwards, and Maggie Edwards all of Paris .
