Dateline: McKenzie Services for Charlie Paul Hamilton, 79, will be held Friday, January 23, 2009 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, January 23, 2009 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Mr. Hamilton, a farmer, sawmill worker, and an employee for Gaines Manufacturing Co. for 30 years died Tuesday January 20, 2009 at his home in McKenzie. He was born on August 2, 1929 in McKenzie, TN to Charlie Ben and Jewel Lee Traywig Hamilton. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, McKenzie, TN. Survivors include two sons: Robert Hamilton of McKenzie and Billy Hamilton of Illinois; two brothers: Freddie Hamilton and Lloyd Roho Hamilton of McKenzie; two sisters: Maggie Knott of McKenzie and Helen Marie Lee of Indiana; and three grandchildren: Robert Hamilton II, Ryan Hamilton, and Chelsea Hamilton.
