Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Joyce Hardesty, 86, will be held Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 10 am at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday, May 23, 2009 from 9:00 am until Service time. Mrs. Hardesty, a retired Auditor for test driving at General Motors in Lansing, MI, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Paris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Paris. She was born on June 10, 1922 in McKenzie to David and Allie Cox Williams. She was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joe Hardesty and two brothers Lloyd Williams and Joe Williams. Survivors include three sons Lynn Adams of McKenzie, Don Adams and Randall both of Lansing, MI, one sister Sarah Morse of Clarksville, nine grandchildren Randy Adams, Georgia Adams, Terri Adams, Doug Adams, Scott Adams, Shannon Caldwell, Jenny Hilliard, Lisa Tyler and Laurie Long.
