Services for Janice A. McClain, 58, will be held Monday, April 10, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Trezevant Church of Christ with Bro. John Forgy officiating. Interment will follow at Trezevant Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Trezevant Church of Christ on Sunday, April 9, 2006 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday, April 10, 2006 from 10 a.m. until Service Time. Mrs. McClain, a retired president of Farmers and Merchants Bank, died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was born on November 18, 1947 in Trezevant, TN to Joe David and Clara Jennings Akins. She was preceded in death by her mother- Clara Akins and her sister- June Akins Merritt. Survivors include her husband- Jimmy McClain; 1 son- Greg McClain; 2 Daughters- Shan McClain DePreist and Nichole McClain Lawrence; her father- Joe David Red Akins; 1 brother- Jerry Akins; 1 sister- Joella Akins Lundy; and 11 grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Trezevant Church of Christ Building Fund.
