Dateline: Henry, TN Services for Mr. Thomas Tommy McFadden, 74, will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bros. Virgil Bishop and Dennis Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Henry Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 29, 2008 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, September 30, 2008 from 10:00 am until service time. Mr. McFadden, a retired State of Tennessee Department of Transportation employee, a former factory worker for Wilker Brothers Pajama Factory and in later years worked in the McFadden Garage in Henry, TN, died Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. He was born on December 4, 1933 in Henry, TN to Bruce and Mildred Haynes McFadden. He was a member of Henry Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister June Howell. Survivors include his wife Shirley Adams McFadden of Henry, three daughters and their husbands Carolyn (Jim) Allen of Paris, Wilma (Jerry) Weathers of Camden, TN, Wanda (Joe) Vickerman of Rockford, IL, one son Tommy McFadden, Jr. of Linden, TN, four sisters Madeline Barker of McKenzie, Shirley Faye Pierce of Hammond, IN, Jane Smothers and Judy Finley both of McKenzie, two brothers Gordon Ray McFadden of Henry, Billy McFadden of Huntsville, AL, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
