Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Mr. George Francis Ognibene, 70, will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2008 at 11:00 am at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Barker officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Lexington, TN with Bro. Dennis Trull. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 6, 2008 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 9:30 am until service time. Mr. Ognibene, a Traffic Manager for the WF Hall Printing Company in Dresden, TN, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. He was born on December 7, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Francis Patrick Ognibene and Stella Rakowski Ognibene. He was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church and a veteran of the U S Army. Survivors include his wife Beulah Mae Keen Ognibene of McKenzie, one daughter and her husband Patricia Ann and Steve Cothran of Milan, TN, one son and his wife George and Jennifer Ognibene of McKenzie, and five grandchildren . Memorials may be made to the McKenzie First Baptist Church Youth Ministry Fund or the Relay for Life for Carroll North. McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
