Samuel Earl Poole

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Mr. Samuel Earl Poole, 77, will be held Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of McKenzie with Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, March 13, 2009 from 10:00 am until 12: noon at the funeral home Mr. Poole will be taken to the church at this time. Mr. Poole, a Retired Truck Driver and Deliveryman for Texagas and later Suburban Propane Company and a former school bus driver, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on March 18, 1931 in Alamo, Tennessee to Otis Clarence and Cordelia Pendergrast Poole. He attended the First Baptist Church of McKenzie. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rebecca Jane Pace Poole and a daughter Angela Chesser. Survivors include a daughter and her husband Rhonda and Doug Swafford of McKenzie, three sons and two daughter in laws: Tony and Jackie Poole of McLemoresville, TN, Tim Poole of Medina, and Terry and Cindy Poole of Trezevant, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
