Services for Alvilda Polly Presson, 83, will be held Monday, August 20, 2007 at 1:00 pm at McKenzie Church Of Christ with Bro. Jim Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 20, 2007 from 11:00 am until 1:00pm at the McKenzie Church Of Christ. Mrs. Presson, a Retired Seamstress, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was born on September 18, 1923 in Cheatham, Co. to the late William H. Griffin & Amanda Jenkins Griffin. She was a member of the McKenzie Church Of Christ. Survivors include Her husband " John Daniel Presson of Gleason, TN. Three Daughters " Faye Harrison of Jackson, TN, Martha ( Gerald ) Spain of McKenzie, TN. Linda Phelps of Gleason, TN. Two Brothers " Lewis Griffin of Belton, Tx., James Griffin of Ashland City, TN. One Sister " Eleanor Lee of White Bluff, TN. Four Grandchildren Two Great Grand Children Memorials may be made to the McKenzie Church of Christ.
