Dorothy Gearldine Rimmer

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Dorothy Gearldine Rimmer, 86, will be held Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 12 Noon until the service time of 2:00 pm. Mrs. Rimmer, a Nursing Aide at the Oak Manor Health Care Center, died Friday, August 13, 2010 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was born on March 8, 1924 in Lone Oak, AR to Johnie and Flossie Lee Vermillion Price. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vern Rimmer and a son Terry Rimmer. Survivors include five daughters: Dorothy Franklin, Judy (Bobby) Cole, Nellie (Malcolm) Horton, Bettie (Tom) Horton, Mary Savage all of McKenzie, TN; two sons: Jerry (Debra) Rimmer of McKenzie, Johnny Rimmer of Trezevant; three sisters: Joyce Newbill of Lavinia, TN, Linda Fuller of Huntingdon, TN, Sandra Erickson of Lockport, IL: two brothers: Howard Price of Trezevant, TN, Frank Price of Camden, TN; 14 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren .
