Roger Bruce Summers

Dateline: McKenzie Services for Roger Bruce Summers, 57, will be held Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Mr. Summers, a farmer, a former maintenance worker and welder, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Tommy and Carlas home on the land that was very close to him, his family farm. He was born on September 18, 1951 in McKenzie to RB and Russellene Hilliard Summers. He was a member of United Presbyterian USA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Linda Summers of McKenzie, a daughter Susan Summers of McKenzie, two sons Brent Summers with the U S Navy in Quantico, VA, Tommy and his wife Carla Summers of McKenzie, three grandchildren Gavin Thomas Summers, Kami Thomas, Connor Bruce Summers all of McKenzie, one sister Cindy Summers and two brothers and their wives Barry and Vickie Summers of Huntingdon, Joel and Sandi Summers of McKenzie.
