Dateline: Goodlettesville, formerly of McKenzie Services for J.C. True, 88, will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 10:00am at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Tony Janner, Brother Ken Castleberry and Brother Dale True officiating. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetary in Union City. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 16,2007 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 8:00am until service time. Mr. True, a Soil Scientist for the U.S. Government, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Alive Hospice in Madison TN. He was born on November 19, 1918 in Rives, TN to James and Mary Roberts True. He was a member of McKenzie 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Pam Campbell. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Wilkerson True and one daughter, Susan Castleberry of Goodlettesville, TN . In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to McKenzie 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 16835 Highland Drive, McKenzie. McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
