Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Mrs. Dorothy Lee Turney, 76, will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Everetts Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 from 10:00 am until service time. Mrs. Turney a restaurant waitress, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. She was born on June 22, 1932 in Paris, TN to Murray Lee and Ivie Pearl Hudgins Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Harold Lee Cooper, two sisters Ada Louise Richardson and Emerline (Emer) Morris. Survivors include three daughters Faye Lynch and (Mike) Headley of Merritt Island. FL, Ada Lee Connell Jones of Haleyville, AL, Shirley Connell Morgan of Double Springs, AL, four sons Kenneth Lynch of Indiana, Jack Lynch of Oklahoma, Jimmy Connell of Arizona and Billy Joe and his wife Becky Connell of Alabama, two brothers and their wives Charles (Chuck) and Beverly Cooper of McKenzie, Joe (David) and Norma Cooper of Seymour, TN, 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
