Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Bro. James Randall Vowell, 57, will be held Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 2:00 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home with Brothers Dennis Beal and Bobby Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Como, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 11:00 am until service time. Bro. Vowell, a former driver for Tri County Transportation Service, died Monday, July 6, 2009 at his residence. He was born on April 10, 1952 in Martin, TN to Jerry Jeter and Mary Jo Summers Vowell. He was a member of Coopers Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Mary Lee Copeland Vowell of McKenzie, a daughter Margaret Marr of McKenzie, two sons Jeter Vowell of Trezevant and Josh Vowell of McKenzie, a brother David Lynn Vowell of Martin, TN and four grandchildren.
