Dateline: Milan, TN Services for Earl Wayne Williams, 65, will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church in Milan with Bro. Matt Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 11:00 am until Service time at the church on State Highway 79. Mr. Williams, a retired insurance agency owner in Milan, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born on July 5, 1942 in Alamo, TN to Curry and Evelyn Mayfield Williams. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, a son Earl Williams, Jr. and a step-son Michael Brasher. Survivors include his wife Peggy M. Williams of Milan, his mother Mrs. Evelyn Trevathan of McKenzie, three daughters Teresa Jakes, Pam Lawes, and Kimberley Harrison all of Smyrna, TN, two sons Michael Williams of Smyrna, and David Williams of Cookeville, TN, one sister Marie Cole of Huntingdon, nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren .
